Yesterday was super relaxing. We made whole grain waffles for breakfast and served them with organic crunchy peanut butter and a maple agave blend syrup. I made it out for a short two mile run with my sister and stayed low key for lunch with some Amy's Organic Macaroni and Cheese.
For dinner, we made root vegetable and beef pot pies with ground beef from Greendale Farms - a local organic meat farm. The crust was the rosemary-garlic whole wheat pizza dough left over from the night before. They came out of the oven looking beautiful, but the dishes were so full that we served them flipped over.
